Career Counsellor – Kochi

Job Description:

Career Counsellor will be a member of the primary contact team for students, professionals,
entrepreneurs and other clients interested and will be responsible for assisting them over the
phone and directly.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Should be the first and most important point of contact for the students/ clients over telephone enquiry or direct enquiry
  2. Understand in detail about each course and suggest potential career paths and set career goals for the students/ clients
  3. Handle inbound and outbound calls completely
  4. Career Counsellors should also respond to inquiries, manage complaints, troubleshoot significant service problems, and provide general information.
  5. Identify and escalate issues to the management team
  6. Research required information using available resources
  7. Document all calls, messages, and other contact information according to standard operating procedures (Update CRM on daily basis) including and especially all incoming enquiries.
  8. Recognize, document, and alert the management team of trends in customer calls
  9. Follow up customer calls where necessary
  10. Upsell products and services
  11. Complete call logs and reports
  12. Manage and communicate effectively the course details or other details required in the case of references/leads/clients passed on by top management as part of administrative work.
  13. Manage all activities related to the front desk in a situation where front desk employee is not available
    a. Manage all front desk enquiries and visitors.
    b. Ensure that all guests are treated well and offered beverages.
  14. Contribute, participate and perform ad hoc activities as and when required for the growth and the success of the organization as a whole
