Manager – Content Acquisition

Job Description:

We are looking for a Content Acquisition Manager who will be responsible for finding and acquiring the next top instructors and partners for Finprov’s E-learning site. Your role will be to develop partnerships with individual experts and organizations to build out an instructor network and bring innovative new courses —courses that will make a massive difference for our students and customers. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll need to be determined and focused.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Going deep to find and sign industry experts and corporate partners to expand our instructor base in high potential topics in Finance & Accounting
  2. Coming up with creative initiatives that will make a difference in your content acquisition efforts.
  3. Partnering with our Digital Learning team to engage instructors in developing market-leading courses
  4. Partnering with our marketing teams to highlight acquired instructors and their courses
  5. Participate in all aspects of negotiation (financial analysis and forecasting, contract drafting, security requirements, amendments)
  6. Represent acquisitions team interests across the company (operations, finance, business intelligence/reporting, content marketing) on a regular basis and as needed on a project basis
  7. Proactively plan, build and execute on long term strategies for the team and the business
  8. Develop market expertise through continuous focus on and knowledge of the competitive and market environment in each international territory
  9. Communicate market trends and industry shifts, including implications and recommendations, to internal and external partners
  10. Independently execute and use discretion to escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  11. Contribute, participate and perform ad hoc activities as and when required for the growth and success of the organization as a whole

Desired Profile:

  1. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in content acquisition, sales, or business development
  2. Ability to establish and build relationships with business professionals
  3. Familiarity with the finance and accounting domain
  4. Self-directed and team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
  5. A strong track record of exceeding goals and high achievement
  6. Amazing client management, business communication, and relationship building skills
