Job Description:
We are looking for a Content Acquisition Manager who will be responsible for finding and acquiring the next top instructors and partners for Finprov’s E-learning site. Your role will be to develop partnerships with individual experts and organizations to build out an instructor network and bring innovative new courses —courses that will make a massive difference for our students and customers. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll need to be determined and focused.
Major Responsibilities:
- Going deep to find and sign industry experts and corporate partners to expand our instructor base in high potential topics in Finance & Accounting
- Coming up with creative initiatives that will make a difference in your content acquisition efforts.
- Partnering with our Digital Learning team to engage instructors in developing market-leading courses
- Partnering with our marketing teams to highlight acquired instructors and their courses
- Participate in all aspects of negotiation (financial analysis and forecasting, contract drafting, security requirements, amendments)
- Represent acquisitions team interests across the company (operations, finance, business intelligence/reporting, content marketing) on a regular basis and as needed on a project basis
- Proactively plan, build and execute on long term strategies for the team and the business
- Develop market expertise through continuous focus on and knowledge of the competitive and market environment in each international territory
- Communicate market trends and industry shifts, including implications and recommendations, to internal and external partners
- Independently execute and use discretion to escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner
- Contribute, participate and perform ad hoc activities as and when required for the growth and success of the organization as a whole
Desired Profile:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in content acquisition, sales, or business development
- Ability to establish and build relationships with business professionals
- Familiarity with the finance and accounting domain
- Self-directed and team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
- A strong track record of exceeding goals and high achievement
- Amazing client management, business communication, and relationship building skills
